Underwater have been announced! The submissions were impressive, and we congratulate all of the participants from around the globe for such magnificent imagery. Terry Maas of the US took first in the general video category, while Simon Spear from the UK nabbed first place in the video conservation category. The 2009 competitions are now closed and the tedious judging process has begun. Nearly 3,500 entries flooded in from all over the globe, and we are all eager to see the results.
Winners of the Our World Underwater international underwater photo & video competition are just weeks away from being announced and displayed during the Our World Underwater show and film festival in Chicago Feb 20 - 22, 2009. We will update the site with the winners on Feb 20th.
