I’m an underwater photographer living in France between Bordeaux and Le Croisic. I started diving on the Croisic coast in 1990. Certified Level IV FFESSM, I also dive with Mares Horizon and Shark rebreathers to limit bubbles and noise, allowing me to get closer to the fauna for better images. I’ve been using Nikon equipment for underwater photography since 1995. I began my apprenticeship with a Nikonos V, back in the days of film. Today I use a Nikon D850 in a Seacam housing and Nikonos RS 13mm and 20-35mm lenses modified by Seacam. These are the best lenses in existence for underwater photography, with breathtaking resolution despite their nearly 40-year-old design.
